Although ordinary Ethernet cables can be used, the better option is to use the more expensive weatherproof Cat 6 cables.
Standards for cable distance recommend that Cat5, 5e, and 6 cables have a maximum cable segment run length of 100m or 328 feet. Four pairs of twisted wires are used to construct Category 5, 5e, 6, and 6a cable, which is most commonly unshielded, as in UTP.
Also, the Cat7 has a higher frequency than the Cat6. The frequency indicates how often the signal can pass through the cable. At a frequency of 1,000 MHz, 10,000 Mbit / s can therefore be transferred 10,000 times per second 10,000 Mbit / s. A Cat7 cable will therefore be able to transfer data faster than a Cat6 cable.

are capable of communicating at faster speeds.
The length is exactly 100 metres as (doing the maths) anything over 100m will be long enough for an ethernet device to transmit a frame and not hear the collission detect back-ff from the far end. so anything over 100m will be subject to late-collisions.
If you want faster internet speeds, Cat6 is a good choice. It reduces something called “crosstalk” — signal transfers that disrupt your communication channels. If you are happy with your current internet speeds, however, Cat5 might be all you need. Besides, Cat5 cables tend to be cheaper than Cat6.
